K. Rackham & Son Engineering Ltd (company no. 06709013, registered office Unit D10 Upper Lounge, Pinetrees Road, Norwich, NR7 9BB) is the controller of the personal data you send through this website.

What we collect

When you send an enquiry we collect your name, email, phone number, site postcode, project details and any files you upload.

Why

To reply to your enquiry and prepare a quote. Our lawful basis is taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.

Who else handles it

Enquiries are sent to our Microsoft 365 email system, which stores them on our behalf. Our website is hosted by Cloudflare.

Cookies and analytics

With your permission, we use Google Analytics to understand how people use the site, for example which pages are visited and whether enquiries are sent. Google Analytics sets cookies (named _ga and _ga_…, kept for up to two years) and sends information about your visit, including your IP address, to Google, which may process it outside the UK.

These cookies are only set if you choose Accept on the cookie banner. If you choose Reject, no analytics cookies are set. We remember your choice in your browser's local storage for 12 months. You can change it at any time with Cookie settings.

How long we keep it

If your enquiry doesn't lead to work, we delete it within 12 months of our last contact with you. If it does, it becomes part of our job records, which we keep for six years after the work is finished for accounting and legal reasons. Analytics data is kept by Google Analytics for 14 months.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data by emailing [email protected]. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
